The mission of Grandparents Network is to unite our senior population in a fun, friendly and safe environment. To enable them to connect with like minded people and develop their skills. A place for them to be valued for their experience.

Grandparents Network began 1 August 2008 as a social networking community for grandparents to interact and be able to enjoy the company of other grandparents from the comfort of their own home.

The Grandparents Network was created by Leigh Kostiainen, mother of two young boys, who after observing relatives and family friends realised there was a need for a place on the internet where her family and friends could spend time without the frustrations and confusing nature of internet sites not designed with them in mind.
