My messages are very slow

To all of you who have left messages for me, my sincere apologies for not responding, it seems that it takes about 3 weeks for messages to  come through (I must need a new computer or something).

And, further to the dilemma about having the flu injection, I had it and true to form, the flu followed shortly thereafter. Call it coincidence, but it never fails (cough cough).

Flu Injections

Well here we are at this time of year having the same discussion with the GP about whether to have a flu injection. Every year it's the same, if I have an injection, it gives me the flu, if I don't, I catch the flu.

Mrs GB has her injection every year and has been flu free from when she started (wretched woman).

Who else has my damned if I do, damned if I don't problem???

Internet security programmes

After over a week trotting my computer backand forward to the computer doctor to resolve problems with frozen screens, super slow boot up and operation and finally needing a complete reformatting, I was told by the doctor that the brand new approved Norton 360 security was the cause as it created too many conflicts.

I am now using a different security programme without any problems. Has anyone else had similar problems?

A belated (but sincere) Merry Christmas and Happy New year to all at GPN. Mrs GB and I had a lovely family Christmas, especially spoiling our 3 yo grandson rotten.

New Years Eve was a spent with old friends, it was our turn to be host and we have a great time. Isn't it amazing how less you drink as you get older.
